The Cold Winter
One of my favourite images, captured shortly after my arrival in Canada, holds a special place in my heart. It wasn't a planned shot; rather, it emerged from a spontaneous need for solace during the cold winter of 2020 amidst the isolating backdrop of the pandemic. Feeling homesick and longing for connection, I ventured out for a drive with my camera in tow.
I stumbled upon a scene that seemed to call out to me. Without much thought, I released the shutter a few times before continuing on my way. It wasn't until later that evening, as I reviewed the images on my laptop, that one in particular seized my attention. Suddenly, I was transported back to that desolate roadside, enveloped in the chill of the night.
